LOOK GOOD…FEEL BETTER® HELPS WOMEN WITH CANCER

April 13, 2009—Women undergoing cancer treatment have an opportunity to get personal attention and hands-on tips from trained cosmetologists at one of the Look Good…Feel Better workshops hosted by Tennessee Oncology at Southern Hills Medical Center.

Many cancer patients experience skin, facial and nail changes during treatment. During the workshop, trained volunteer beauty professionals offer practical tips about skin care, makeup techniques, and guidance for coping with hair loss.

A free bag of makeup from leading cosmetic companies is also provided for use as tools in the session and later, at home.

The office of Tennessee Oncology on the campus of Southern Hills Medical Center is hosting a class on May 12 at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free. Advance reservations are required by calling TriStar MedLineSM at 615-342-1919.
